How do I convince my ortho I have a narrow palate

I have an ortho appointment tmr morning to get x-rays done for invisalign, but I also want to bring up getting a palate expander. I honestly believe I have a narrow palate but when my dentist looked at it they said it wasn't narrow, but I still believe I would benefit from an expander.

My parents also won't want to get one due to the cost but is there a way I can lie enough for it to be a necessity? Like saying I have sleep apnea? Since I'm getting my x-rays done, will they know for sure if it's narrow or not? and if it's not is there any point in trying

how many teeth show when you smile? larping sleep apnea probably wont be easy

8 teeth but the edges are like rounding already so i still have the triangles. i have a few symptoms of sleep apnea so might not even be larping and sometimes i wake up gasping n shit lmao but maybe im just a deep sleeper

parents barely wanna pay for braces, i would be paying half rn, dont know how to convince them for palate expander. about to turn 16 anyways, i dont think i would even qual for regular rpe rn

i meant if u wait to 18 ur plates will likely be closed and then you'll need either marpe or hopefully not sarpe. all we can do is hope for the best bhai
