How do I convince the nurse to give me more accutane?

I’ve read there is a cumulative dose of 120-150mg and if you don’t reach this total then acne is more likely to come back.

I’ve been prescribed a cumulative dose of 8960mg but this is short from the low target of my cumulative dose which is 10200 (120mg) or the upper limit which is 12750.

How do I go about getting more accutane to reach this range? What do I tell to my nurse? Is it likely she will give me more pills? I don’t want my acne to come back after I finish my first treatment. Would I be better off ordering some from Indiamart incase the nurse doesn’t give me more accutane?

For context I told her I haven’t seen new breakouts in a few weeks at my last appointment and now I have 8 weeks remaining until I see her again.

Researching I found that the average range in clinical settings was 150-220mg/kg
I just researched this and you’re right. I did not know this until just now. Is it possible to take too much accutane? Let’s say I reach 150mg/kg. Should I stop there or keep going at 80mg a day because of this new research?

Yes and no, if you mean taking it past your cumulative dose than not really, it'll help in some ways but you can also not really see much effects if your acne is already cleared

If your acne is already gone and you believe at the time you don't need to stay on for longer than I don't believe it is necessary

Ok thanks for the advice. I’ll stop using it once I reach 150mg/kg. It’s counterproductive to keep taking it for many more months to reach let’s say 220mg/kg especially when only like 10-15% of users require a 2nd course.
