one side of my jaw is slightly higher than the other which is also giving me different gonial angles and a slight ramus difference in length, I'm not really sure what could fix it but im open to most things including surgeries besides jaw implants as im having MARPE and bimax so i dont want my jaw to get too wide

No pic? Is it Mandibular Asymmetry or Muscular? If muscular can fix easier but otherwise will need surgery ofc

seems more mandibular to me due to then jaw being assymetric in the sense of one being being higher and the other lower, also here is a pic

Sorry but you can’t significantly change it after puberty only via surgery
i see, do you happen to know if there is any to implement any actual bone change to my mandible via bimaxillary osteotomy or is implants my only bet?

I would go with implants, less risk of getting botched and usually cheaper

Implants aren’t the first-line solution for true mandibular asymmetry. If the ramus height or chin point is off, implants only mask it from one angle and create weird contour in motion. Bimax can correct yaw/roll/twist, but it depends whether the asymmetry is maxillary-driven or mandibular-driven.

If it’s just muscular or soft-tissue, surgery is cope. If it’s skeletal (ramus height difference, gonial angle mismatch), only orthognathic procedures fix the root.

Before deciding, you need:
• Panoramic X-ray
• CBCT
• Ceph
• Diagnosis of whether the asymmetry originates in maxilla, mandible, or both.

Without those, people saying “implants only” or “surgery only” are just guessing.

Be grateful for your lips as well, I have no upper lip so I went to orthodontist to get my skull scanned to check for any issues . my advice if you don't want to waste money is pay for a scan but know that unless you come up with an excuse/ valid reason, they will deny you the scan due to radiation risk and you'll walk out with them telling you to stop obsessing over your looks....:trepidation:

Like legit lie and look up what would qualify for a scan in your country, email them beforehand and get them to agree and then persist with the scan or you'll waste money and time for some useless low lvl scan.
