if you have a crossbite try to ask your ortho for a marpe since a cross bite is a result of a small pallete. but that's all I can think of honesty because if you get that overbite fixed it will cause your maxilla to recess even more and I don't think there is anything you can do to push you mandible forward.

Make sure the braces he gives are Damon braces

Regular ones usually pull teeth in which can cause recession

class ii elastics will cause downward growth and recession. ask ortho if there are other treatments you can get that prevent that.
