Whenever I mew my tongue touches my first and second upper molars, Ive tried different tongue positions but it doesn't really help. Is it a mistake with my posture or do I need to expand?

Narrow palate? Mewing is just the natural tongue posture, it should be subconscious, you will only be able to if you had the bone development in the first place. Mark as a solution.

A palate expander so you can achieve some expansion of the palate, your tongue will have enough space. Don't listen to these jesters & gurus that promote techniques.

If you just got your braces off, getting a palate expander would usually mean you’d have to go back into braces afterward to realign everything.
