How do i fix skinny fat?

13m, I'm skinny fat, I have slightly broad shoulders, arms are not that small, but still I have the skinny fat physique, tried cutting and now on body recomp for 3 months (no bulking im already fat enough) but still no results, people who used to be skinny fat, how did you do it?
 
Eat better
Its either youre not eating good enough or you have klinefelters
 
listen kid you are 13. Your main goal should be eating healthy food, getting lots of sleep and lifting weights.

skinny fat is just fat, cut to a healthy bodyfat percentage then start lean bulking

You need a slow paced BULK first. Skinny fat is more frustrating than being fat fat because of how conflicted you feel. If you cut right now you'll erode any muscle you have right now and trust me a skinny-fat, to cut down physique with no muscle, dude no girl will touch you with a 10 foot pole, so, the black pill is, take a slow bulk not 300-500 cals above maintenance, just enough to build muscle, i suggest 100-150 cals above maintenance, and you NEED to lift heavy weights. and the rest will fix itself over time. You also need to stay motivated my friend the most people that quit the gym and give up are the skinny fat people. Remember time x

the kid is 13 my dude, he hasn't even entered puberty. worst advice to give any kid that's not morbidly obese is to "cut"

Eat a lot of protein like high quality meats (steak, ground beef/bison) and fats (beef tallow, avocado oil, unprocessed cheese) and join a sports team or something. Be outside as much as you can be so you can get enough sun, too.

that is also why i said an extremely slow bulk to begin with, don't stuff your face, but eat in a tiny enough surplus to begin to build frame, you have to build a building before you can knock it down. that's why literally everyone and myself in the fitness industry say before anyone cuts to build a good frame.

yeah but most top coaches advise getting lean first even if you're quite skinny so your lean bulk can last longer and excess fat you may have had won't eat up some of those calories taking away from potential muscle tissue
