its most likely crossbite or masseter asymmetry

for crossbite most likely need bsso basically djs and if its masseter related you can get botox

I doubt not very educated

I don't know if chewing evenly will fix anything
but you can try to chew with the weaker and develop that side to even it out but not sure

4 most likely causes:

1. neck
2. teeth
3. muscles
4. general posture

for neck try a couple neck stretches like chin tucks, upper traps stretch and SCM stretches (look for all of them)

for teeth you need braces (mostly palate expander) or surgery if too old

for muscle inbalance you need to chew on the weak side or get botox in the dominant jaw side

for general posture you need to check if your hips are uneven and stretch the dominant side (higher side) and strengthen the weak (low side)

bone asymmetry is rare and only fixable with fillers/implants/bimax but i doubt it. its usually soft tissue or muscle imbalance

i dont think theres a way to fix maxillary asymmetry with softmaxes. its usually bone related or soft tissue (for example sleeping on the same side for years will make your upper jaw appear crooked but in reality its just the skin being more loose on one side)

calling for your boyfriend because you cant google it urself retard?

Yes, tight neck and hip muscles can absolutely cause jaw asymmetry. While the jaw and hips seem far apart, they are biologically and mechanically linked through what physical therapists call the "Kinetic Chain."

+1

When one part of this chain is pulled out of alignment, the rest of the body compensates to keep your eyes level and your center of gravity stable.

1. The "Upward Cascade": Hips to Jaw

Your pelvis is the foundation of your spine. If your hip muscles (like the psoas or iliacus) are tight on one side, it can cause a pelvic tilt or rotation.

  • The Chain Reaction: A tilted pelvis forces the spine to curve slightly to compensate. To keep your head straight, your neck muscles must tighten unevenly.

  • The Result: This uneven neck tension pulls on the base of your skull and the muscles attached to your jaw, gradually shifting the mandible (lower jaw) to one side.

2. The Direct Pull: Neck to Jaw

The neck and jaw share several key muscles and nerve pathways. Two specific muscles are usually the culprits:

  • Sternocleidomastoid (SCM): This large muscle runs from behind your ear to your collarbone. If it's tight on one side, it can physically pull the temporal bone (where your jaw joint sits) out of position, causing your bite to feel "off" or your jaw to look shifted.

  • Trapezius: Chronic tension in the upper traps (common in "tech neck") pulls the head forward. This Forward Head Posture puts the jaw muscles under constant strain, often causing one side of the jaw (the masseter) to work harder and become larger/more prominent.

3. The Fascial Connection (The "Deep Front Line")

In anatomy, "fascia" is a web of connective tissue that wraps around all your muscles. There is a specific line of fascia called the Deep Front Line that runs from the arches of your feet, through the pelvic floor and hip flexors, up through the diaphragm, and ends at the jaw and tongue.

+1

  • Because this is one continuous "string," tension in the hips can literally "tug" on the fascia of the jaw from below.

How to Tell if Your Jaw Issue is "Postural"

If your jaw asymmetry is caused by your neck and hips, you might notice:

  1. The "Click" follows the lean: Your jaw clicks or shifts more when you’ve been sitting at a desk for a long time.
  2. Uneven Shoulders: One shoulder sits higher than the other, corresponding to the side of the jaw that feels tight.
  3. The Pelvic Test: If you stand in front of a mirror and notice one hip bone is higher than the other, your jaw asymmetry is likely a compensatory shift.

What Can You Do?

Treating the jaw alone often fails because the "pull" is coming from elsewhere. A holistic approach usually involves:

  • Hip Flexor Releases: Stretching the psoas to level the pelvis.
  • SCM Release: Gently massaging the side of the neck to reduce the "tug" on the jaw joint.
  • Tongue Posture: Practicing "Mewing" (resting the tongue on the roof of the mouth), which acts as an internal stabilizer for the jaw.
Would you like me to describe a few specific stretches for the psoas or SCM that are designed to help realign the jaw?

But its more likely that OP just chews with one side of his face rather than anything to do with posture, let alone to the extent that hip excercises would help

my original advice was:
its most likely crossbite or masseter asymmetry

for crossbite most likely need bsso basically djs and if its masseter related you can get botox
that was before he clarified that its a masseter issue that's why I said it could be either or beforehand not knowing if it was skeletal

but a bad body posture (starting from legs/hips) can still cause facial asymmetry which is a thing your retard friend is to ignorant to accept. theres plenty of studies about this.

it could be that one side of your traps is more developed because youre right handed or wore a backpack over that shoulder for years for example. flex both your traps in the mirror and see if one is bigger, feel both traps. do chin tucks to get your head in the right position if you got forward head posture (3-5 second holds 10x a day at least)

need pics/video bro

it could be that one side of your traps is more developed because youre right handed or wore a backpack over that shoulder for years for example. flex both your traps in the mirror and see if one is bigger, feel both traps. do chin tucks to get your head in the right position if you got forward head posture (3-5 second holds 10x a day at least)
I am left handed, actually + I think there is no problem with posture bro maybe my neck looked weird cuz of my face
