How do I get a specific hair style?

I want this hair style. How do I get it? Do I have to just show a barber the picture and pray he knows what he’s doing?

you ask him to cut the sides off (not sure inches but I think like 3/4 inch off side iirc) and then you go home, slick it back with a headband, spray it so it holds, and then part it down one of the sides

if you have straight hair type its the best and remenber the longer is the hair the more the slickback you get.

yes and some light oil + a pomade and or sea salt spray
