How do I get better at socializing

Im having a really hard time socializing rn. Idk why tho, I sometimes feel like I’m trying too hard to be perfect and nonchalant? Plz help me I’m ruining my life with this

I already try but it’s hard because I just started high school and got a new class with assigned seats.

True. i just gave up on socializing so now i just spend time with close friends so it isn't awkward.

but i suppose the more you start talking to someone new/interact with a different friend group, you'll eventually get out of the awkward phase and possibly fit in better. You just gotta talk about something that aligns with their interests. Like two gym goers in a class full of non gym goers would get along pretty well.

but even i don't have the balls to try and do that so i just gave up on this socializing fuckery

Ik i have experienced bp irl. I work in a grocery store and ever since I’ve gotten a glow up customers treat me better and talk nicer and smile. But idk why but I always walk around looking sad or some would say mad. But that’s just my resting face
