How do I get my old hair back

During the summer I went to Poland and the whole time there my hair had been nice and wavy although the picture shows I have long hair I did cut it down a bit in Poland. But even then it was still nice and wavy but ever since I got back to NYC it’s been complete ass it is straight and frizzy. How do I get back my old hair I’m still growing it out but I don’t think short hair is the problem. Also I wouldn’t do anything sprawiał to my hair I would wake up and it would look like that also I didn’t have a good diet there too so it’s not diet related and I would take showers everyday and wash my hair with a dr squatch soap bar every other day. Any solutions?
