How do I get my surgeon to agree to bimax instead of corrective jaw surgery?

Background: I have a recessed jaw and will have mandatory surgery in a few months.
I desperately want to get double jaw surgery (bimax) but I'm scared my doctor will only allow me to get corrective lower jaw surgery.
Is there any way I can convince my doctor?
Ofc I can always get my maxilla corrected later but that will be expensive and the surgery I'm getting now is fully compensated by the government.
