How do i get rid of discoloration from Nose Pads

I've been wearing glasses for probably the past 5ish years of my life and because of that I've developed a lot of discoloration on the spots where the nosepad sits from the glasses. Ive being trying to get rid of it and asking my doctor what I can do but they said not much can be done. Ive only started out by using tretinoin but my percent is really weak.

The only other methods I know of to fix it is hydroquinone
