Yeah not for height. I've had inserts since like 6th grade because I have really flat feet. I believe I bought mine from dick's sporting goods but they just add some arch to your feet which helps with pain

yeah probably bc of your tilt or flat feet. when i first got inserts i just put them in some slippers when i was at home to help
