hi guys, i have that problem pretty long time, at first when i started gym 4-5 years ago i had very problematic bacne, then after i started treated it with retinol and salicylic acid, i got PIE and couple places with PIH, what can i do to fix this? i have it only on back and shoulders, was using ghkcu and mt2, and it helped a bit with colouring but its still visible and i want to have clear skin there

for PIH Hydroquinone, but only apply to the affected spots. For PIE Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Azelaic Acid. Hydroquinone won't work on PIE because those marks are damaged blood vessels rather than excess pigment, so they require things to heal the area like niacinamide instead of bleaching agents. also if u do use hydroquinone use sunscreen and using with tret makes it work better.

yeah those are both good. if you're still getting used to tret, you should add the aa in gradually, doing it in the mornings and every other day/on tret off days. Although the tret purge is usually 4-6 weeks, so 9 weeks is a bit much, if its a skin barrier issue, then you shouldnt add anything in and potentially reduce the tret frequency.
