Hello I am 13 years old, and 4'10. Mom: 5ft dad: 5'8 is there genuinely anything I can do to maximize my growth potential. I know I'm young, and some of you may say to get off this website. But I think by being on here and starting early will help me a lot in my future. I don't want to be 5'6 when I'm older. I've heard of hgh, and I've been looking into it, and my mom has heard of it and says. "I will take you to a endocrinologist". But I am afraid they won't prescribe me anything as "I'm just a short boy", and that's just my genetics. I hope thats not the answer I pray and pray. If I am not prescribed peptides is there anything other than sleep and nutrition? If so please help me

First of all, it isn't bad to go to an endocrinologist. Get them to measure your GH levels. If your GH levels are low, then look into HGH.

'Peptides' aren't going to help you all that much. I'm assuming you found out about this place on tiktok, and as you search through threads, you will find out that most peptides are not as good as people say they are. Just look through best of the best threads/other threads to learn about your height. And be careful about what you tell your mom.

Thank you so much and I am aware that these peptides aren't gonna make me grow up to be 6ft or even 5'9. I was introduced to this by a friend not by tiktok. But anyways thank you so much I will take this into consideration

In addition to the other advice, you need to:
* try to sleep 9 hours, continuous deep sleep per night before 10 PM (not in bed, actually asleep) to boost HGH (growth hormone) production that will make you grow taller
* play sports to have a healthy energy/metabolism
* eat high protein and high dairy (calcium for bones), don't worry about eating way too much or becoming slightly bloated, it's OK

and most importantly, YOU NEED TO ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF AT THE DOCTOR, THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING UNLESS YOU PUSH REALLY HARD if something has to be done. Don't be scared to speak up, even though you are young, and make sure your mom is aware of this. Do not mention anything too crazy though.

No peptides. Don't even think about it. Don't mention it to anyone. Don't mention "looksmaxxing" or "BP" to anyone. Not your mom, not your dad, not the doctor, not the nurse, not your brother or sister, not anyone in the world.

Finally, you may simply have a late puberty, in which case you may indeed have a large growth spurt. This happened with several of my classmates in high school who were 5' 1"~5' 3" at age 14 and became 5' 11"~6' 2" by age 16.

After this, no more .org either. Live your life and have a good time at school and with friends.

Best of luck.

At the age of 10 i knew that my puberty had started early (and it distressed me greatly - somehow I knew exactly what was going on at that age) and by the age of 12 my growth stopped, and I knew that something was probably not right (having zero exposure to any type of blackpill or looksmaxxing content). I wish I was really vocal to my parents about it, but honestly, they didn't care that much and since I was too timid to speak up, so I stopped growing around age 13, and during perhaps the one or two years I may have had a small potential to grow my tiger mom studycelled me RIP.

Of course, getting HGH/whether it would help is not in your control, but you (OP) need to speak up and voice your concerns without being overly pushy as a 13 year old. It will not automatically increase your height though. It's more important that the growth plates are not closed and that you are receiving good nutrition and most importantly, sleep.

I'm trying to figure out this to what I've been reading. It says hgh only will make me hit my growth spurt faster and not modify my height genetics only just make me basically grow up faster. But I could definitely be wrong because I have low knowledge of what these do and stuff but I will keep researching

just take another drug to keep your growth plate open, your're welcome:)

There are definitely more niche endocrinologists that would be able to go beyond HGH and focus on growth plate inhibition, but that's likely not going to happen. You need to avoid aromatase that converts testosterone into estrogen, which fuses the growth plates. These kinds of niche treatments are not common in the US and are very expensive.

Ultimately, you have to control what you can control (sleep, and to some extent diet and exercise) and just pray. It will be alright.

Oh yeah definitely I haven't been mentioning anything crazy like any of this stuff. I've mentioned being below average to my mom. She will take me to see a endocrinologist like I put in the thread. She even sent me a article about hgh when I've never mentioned it to her

Prioritize your sleep if you aren’t already, that’s the first thing you should worry about if you want to get taller

It's good that your mom cares, and I would just try not to obsess over it. Be very clear with the doctor, but at the end of the day you've gotta pray and also relax (cortisol/stress hormone upregulates aromatase -> fuses growth plates).

It's kinda late and you should sleep. God is with you.

If it were to happen money is not a problem for me and I'm sure my parents would be more than willing to pay for the treatment. Because Ive been investing to I've gotten a couple thousand that I contribute but it's probably not even close to being enough. So ultimately my parents would have to pay for a lot of it

It's not just the money, it's also the time, the location of the doctor (which could be very far away), etc. But hopefully, your growth plates aren't fused - that's more important than HGH or anything like that. Godspeed.

You are right to worry about it. Don't listen to the people who say "oh your young" and "it's just genetics" you need to REALLY SLEEP on a good daily basis, you need to have a good diet and avoid sugar as much as you can completely avoid acne

You can't control what the doctor says, and honestly, a lot of doctors don't really know what they're doing.

You really gotta pray and see what they say. And even if you still have potential to grow tall (God-willing), then it's also possible that HGH won't help. That's also a possibility. I know this is really worrying to you, and you have the right to be worried. But you just need to do what you can and God will handle the rest. Nothing else that you can do.

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Matthew 10:29-31

You have a long ways ahead of you at 13, you may be a late bloomer, but the best thing you can do to make sure you reach your maximum potential height. It really all goes down to proper habits, trust me, you could grow even in your 20s if you optimize correctly. If you are malnourished everyday you won’t grow, so make sure you’re consuming proper food.
