How do I go about getting MSE or similar in Germany?

Age: 21
Problem: hardcore mouthbreathed and it left me with typical monthbreather structure (from aesthetics standpoint). From a functional standpoint i get dizzy very easily during and exhausted after (cardio) exercise, my sleep quality is not good, diagnosed adhd (a part of this is heredetary, but I think mouthbreathing worsened it).

I can cope with not fully reverting the aesthetic damage mouthbreathing did, but I want to atleast fix the functional breathing part.

If i where to go to an orthodontist What would they adivse me usually? Is MSE the way to go?
From a functional standpoint, how does MSE Compare to whatever surgery is done in cases like mine?
What are the practitioners that do MSE in Germany? e.g. Moschik in Munich
For Germans: Does medical insurance pay in my case? How severe does it need to be for them to pay for adults?

Can i go straight to the orthodontist or do I have to get some stuff before the first consult (e.g. in the moschik thread he said he took xrays with him)?

Depends on the ortho. You will get MSE from a MSE practitioner easily if you request it and you have discrepancies / crossbite. Yes, MSE has to be the most change-inducing orthodontic treatment I know.

There are only few "surgeries" for airway
Septoplasty, Genioplasty, Bimax
MSE is not a surgery, but it is advisable to do it first out of all of those

insurance doesnt cover. MSE aswell as MARPE in general is not seen as a good or proven way of expanding the palate or improving breathing.
Bavaria is actually the only state in Germany where 3D CT is covered by insurance

depends on how thorough your ortho is; 8-14 days as reference
