How do I increase forward growth while having elastics?

I’m 15, I got braces but today they gave me elastics. I have an already pretty non existent maxilla and I’ve heard elastics can recess it even more. How do I counter this? I need more forward growth.

by moving you're maxilla forward it worked for me in less than 2 months

As far as i think of, there shouldnt be any negatives from thumbpulling but i may be wrong

The only one I can think of is asymmetry but only if you don’t do it right.
