So I've calculated that with my current job , I'm able to set aside 20k each year for other ventures. What are some high and low risk options to grow my wealth?

If you are smart and can set your ego aside, you will invest most of it into index funds & only a small portion into gambling like cryptos or tech stocks.

You'll thank yourself 10 years down the road, 15k @ 8% a year, you'll have a sweet $220k to spend as you please, plus you will have had the opportunity to use 5k a year as a slush fund for whatever risky ventures you chose and possibly have more.

If you are manic-depressive or suicidal you can of course just gamble it all on cryptos, Tesla stock or startups. Not recommended :lul:

I see! Thanks for the help. I've heard index/mutual funds are incredibly stable. That's gonna be my first choice.

I'm not into crypto or tesla , but startups seem interesting. A small portion is gonna go towards that most likely . Where do I find startups?

Find them locally. Preferably companies which have people and headquarters you can visit in person.

You generally don't want to invest in startup companies who are in foreign countries and foreign legislations. That is just asking to get defrauded

Remember 98-99% of startups fail in one way or another. It's even riskier than cryptos, with a potential big payout if the company decides to list on the public stock exchange.

With cryptos, you have a moderate chance of making *some* money regardless of how big or small the cryptocurrency (even small trashcoins have potential to go big)

With startups there is a very high likelihood whatever you put in, you will never see again. That's why they are mostly favored by very big investors who have nothing to lose and just have extra cash laying around & will not mind the financial consequences if and when the company goes bust.

Darn! I really hoped startups wouldn't be so risky. But yeah it is what it is. I'll stay away from them , thanks for looking out.

What are some business that you would go into? I'm currently living in china and have been thinking about starting one.

Invest in a dog, needed surgeries, nice apartment, nice clothes, newest Apple stuff, and other things that improve your experience and say "wealthy but not a show off".

Slow life strategy does not work in an era where any man over 29.999 will be age cucked out of anything but single moms regardless of personal success.

You have your entire senior years from 30 to 80+ to accumulate money if you want. Talk about investing then.

I'm mostly investigating to beat inflation and have a more stable future. But I will get the dog and nice clothes though .
