how do i know if my indiamart vendor is legit

i always see people asking for indiamart vendors, but why would you struggle finding one? i literally clicked the first one that had the best reviews, in business the longest, and had the trust seal badge. am i doing it wrong someone lmk. or am i just buying off an overpriced vendor and people are looking for cheaper.
