personally i just went to an ortho and told him on the first day ill only go to him if he gives me mse and he gave me rpe. but you can larp about breathing, wider smile, better zygos, most orthos just want more money and basically you are asking him to give him money cuz he probably takes a large cut out of what you pay for the mse

Probably not ngl. In my case my palate was way more narrow than my lower jaw, and my lower teeth sat inwards so they still fit onto my upper teeth, thats unusual and a good reason for an expander, idk if the breathing thing will convince them
