visit r/qualityreps; i made over $18k ($8-12k profit) this year from casually buying hauls and reselling what i don't like/wear on lax platforms like depop or vinted.. a few snuck grailed authentication too; fairly easy and consistent hustle if you buy niche items or brands from like undercover, number nine, yohji, raf, acne studios, rick, dries van noten, ysl, dior, erd or vetements/balenciaga. i'd personally stay away from heavily repped brands known for quality/authenticity like LV, chrome hearts, gucci, prada, miu miu, maison margiela, chanel, hermes etc.. stick to old collections or niche items and you'll be fine. it does go deeper; wherein you can try to sell previously stated heavily repped brands as real with a receipt generator if they're truly 1:1 but personally it's not worth the trouble. i'd also stay away from things like watches, shoes, or expensive nike collabs. you'll be much more consistent selling nn, UC, rick, vet, blcg and or erd at a 2-4x profit than trying to sell a 1:1 LV bag or an AP for 1.5x.. and obviously you need a little capital before starting as hauls aren't cheap. if you spent $50 getting an item to your guangzhou warehouse it's approximately another $35-70 depending on weight per item to ship it. my hauls range from $750-1.5k and i usually make $2k-5k within the following months often times keeping a few items. jeans, jackets, accesories like rings, belts, scarves sell the quickest and are the cheapest on both shipping and purchasing.

some tips if anyone actually does do this

1. source model pictures/stats to avoid taking measurements
2. cross-post on multiple platforms
3. price according to any others on the market
4. take advantage of "discounting" wherein you price high and discount to your profit margin
5. avoid mass market batches when you can i.e. weidan and xianyu > taobao
6. go for non-hype items for example balenciaga charms/bracelets instead of hoodies tees or shoes as you monopolize the market
7. join the qualityreps discord for better sellers/release information to be early

my biggest W so far was an erd Christiane F clutch wallet that got verified on grailed selling for $1.6k when I bought it for like $40..
