yea i made a palate expander using bracesshop, a german company. I still use it every night and have it adjusted to around 48mm. It took years for my teeth to move into the new position, starting from about 39mm. Extremely dangerous for most because the teeth roots can literally stick through the gums.

If you use a tooth/palate born expander, it will take fucking eons for the bone to cement. I'm going on my 6th year of useage. It will collapse several mm if I don't wear it for around 4 nights in a row.
