How do I post pictures and PM people?

I am on the website and for some reason when i go to pm someone i cant find a "start conversation" button anywhere, also when i try to attach photos to posts/messages they just appear black and then they dont end up sending with the rest of the message. I also tried attaching them directly into the message box but just got a "there was an issue" pop up whenever i did.

Hover over a profile name
You will see start convo button in the bottom right

Ok so,when you start to type
You can see that there is an option of gallery right beside the chain kinda thing or the three dots
Click on that gallery option and choose a picture you wish to share,once it gets inserted just post it
And to PM people,you need to first click on the message box that is in the top, right beside the bell button(notification)
After u click on it,it would say to start conversation with someone
So,to start a conversation,you have to first type the name of the user in the recipient list and then type something/give a title before you start and post it

Sorry, the bottom right is empty, I see the three on the left: "gift, follow, ignore" but the right is still blank. Is there maybe a minimum rep requirement to start convos?

Tried that a few times as well, but for some reason the app wouldnt load the pictures and they wouldnt be sent. Maybe that one is just my wifi, I appreciate the help though

Nvm, got that one to work, there is a max file size requirement. So thats what the issue was with the other attempts.

Nvm, got that one to work, there is a max file size requirement. So thats what the issue was with the other attempts.

Max file size for pics is like 5mb I think

The person may have the option to talk to them turned off
