get in your local music scene. talking to alt girls isn't hard at all, it's just meeting them that's kinda difficult. Here's a pic of goth night at 924 gilman a few weeks ago, literally just pull up, pay 5 bucks, and it's a buncha alt people hanging out listening to music. In your free time, listen to more alternative music, doesn't have to be anything super hard core. pop punk is good enough, cus the competition is low since not many guys are alternative.
