Its nerfing me so bad im looking bloated

The only way you can technically 'relax' them is just by not clenching your jaw. Assuming you have wide set masseter muscles its kinda hard to get rid of that bloated look.

This doesn’t make sense, if you were young enough the bone adapts to the muscle being built,

The solution is Botox but it could be an underlying issue.

It could be night time clenching which is a symptom of a narrow airway; did you ever have orthodontic work?

With magnesium as you said it helps to calm/relax the masseter muscle. By acting as a GABA receptor agonist, which further reduces stress related jaw tightening. So I can vouch for mag but I haven't heard anything on a massage gun. But logically speaking I can imagine
since a massage gun uses percussive therapy to provide rapid, targeted pressure it'll probably help break up tight muscle fascia.

To be honest I don't know how much these factors will help since its all science based speculation so if there is a major change that'd be interesting. From what I can tell any changes in masseter prominence will probably be minimal.
