HOW DO I STOP PROFUSELY BLEEDING EVERYTIME I USE PDO/PCL THREADS

Seems like one out of every ten attempts at insertion actually works. Every other time I either nick a vein and start bleeding profusely or my skin just starts bleeding, would a vasoconstrictor helps this or do I just need to source blunt tip canelas
