Just watch YouTube videos summarizing the topic and practice. If that's not enough that's a brain issue. Stop scrolling etc.

N* IDK ITS SCIENCE AND IM NOT INTERSETD
rest your brain stop scrolling for a while, give your phone to someone, then put on those binarual beats things, i swear they help

rest for like 15 minutes beforehand then take out all resources that you have been given on the topic

write down all the important points you need to learn that you will see on the test

summarize what youve learned after rereading everything or watching a video on the topic

quiz yourself

see what you missed

repeat

also pretend someone is watching / filming you while you do it, it can help to go in public like a library

they work if you are really cnfused on a question or need to check a paper without a key, but maybe dont use them to learn
I meant like ones where you put text or slides and they make notes or flashcards etc

Read the textbook and solve past papers questions and textbook questions. Question spamming is necessary

Don't waste your time on flash cards or highlighters.

Edit: Just make sure you understand what you are reading and don't zone out whilst reading

make your own, when you write or type it kind of ingrains it into your memory, because as you read and write, you are also taking in the information

I do similar but instead of napping I watch brooklyn 99 which is 20 mins too

But the most important thing for me is to not look at the time so i dont get disrupted when im locked in and shit

and setting a timer for 20 minutes wont work either cuz its prolly gonna take me like 15 mins to sleep

I'm a science student and what I do for basically any subject I study (whether it isn't even in science).
I read notes or watch the youtube videos explaining the topic I need to study or want to study,

USE A REAL PEN AND PAPER (tbh doesnt need to be but you kinda want something you can draw on like an ipad with stylus pen. real pen and paper is just easy to do and available)
So , you read the notes or watch the video WHILE writing the main points and using arrows and stuff to relate a key point to subpoint and do this for all key points and you can mention a little bit of details along with the topic you're writing about / the keypoint you're writing about.
This is really basic BUTT BUT the main thing is to relate the things in such a way and write the things in such a way that you'll be able to recall almost everything about it.
I can give you an example if you need it.

Edit : this , i feel is the best way to learn or memorise a topic quickly especially when exam is around. you can find summary videos that're like 3 minutes long and just make such mind map~ish notes quickly. it takes like 5-10 minutes max. Then you can just read the notes u just made once or twice and you'll remember the whole concept and details too.
