Read the textbook and solve past papers questions and textbook questions. Question spamming is necessary

Don't waste your time on flash cards or highlighters.

Edit: Just make sure you understand what you are reading and don't zone out whilst reading

My method (for exam season) is to revise 1 hour, then 20 mins nap, then repeat

But the most important thing for me is to not look at the time so i dont get disrupted when im locked in and shit

I'm a science student and what I do for basically any subject I study (whether it isn't even in science).
I read notes or watch the youtube videos explaining the topic I need to study or want to study,

USE A REAL PEN AND PAPER (tbh doesnt need to be but you kinda want something you can draw on like an ipad with stylus pen. real pen and paper is just easy to do and available)
So , you read the notes or watch the video WHILE writing the main points and using arrows and stuff to relate a key point to subpoint and do this for all key points and you can mention a little bit of details along with the topic you're writing about / the keypoint you're writing about.
This is really basic BUTT BUT the main thing is to relate the things in such a way and write the things in such a way that you'll be able to recall almost everything about it.
I can give you an example if you need it.

Edit : this , i feel is the best way to learn or memorise a topic quickly especially when exam is around. you can find summary videos that're like 3 minutes long and just make such mind map~ish notes quickly. it takes like 5-10 minutes max. Then you can just read the notes u just made once or twice and you'll remember the whole concept and details too.

Once you are ahead and get good results, you will love not being stressed or late to learn something.

makes notes and use flashcards, quizlet learn mode works well, or knowt if you don't wanna pay

You need to take notes because slides are oftentimes inadequate. I understand that notetaking can be a burden. I hate taking notes as well, so you should use some sort of lecture recording software like otter.ai that takes notes for you. Read those aloud, and ask chatgpt to help you with them.

if the topic isn't super niche, there's probably countless videos on the internet, find your topic and watch a video on it, if its difficult to understand.

say you want to study acids , bases and salts.
You open up the notes , read them , write whatever you understand maybe make a sort of map ( really depends on person to person the way they want to do this ) by map i mean connecting shit with arrows like Acids and their properties and then bases and their properties.
and you go through all of the notes and once you're done with making these sorta notes or mindmaps.
you go through the mindmaps and notes and then write them down again.
after writing them down again you check if you left something or you may forget something while rewriting them so u check the notes again read through and write the stuff again.

This method is great if you have an exam say literally the next day but the syllabus isnt too complex i.e. the chapters are pretty short. or when you only have to do some topics of a chapter.

If I knew about this 2 years ago (11th grade) I would have aced everything but alas.
