How do I survive UK collage

For context I am studying sports and the collage I am going to has a very bad reputation and is said to be very rough and the people who go there are not to pleasant apparently, my friend even saw a dude getting stabbed just outside it, however I think I can survive but how do I minimise the risk and how can I gain status in the collage as I have always been bullied at middle and high school but now that I am going to collage I have a chance for a fresh start and a new friend group, so what would you guys suggest?

depends really on what school, what class and what people you have.

you should treat everyone the same, if someone mentally unstable feels treated worse by you, it may result in him stabbing you.

just try to make everyone think "he is genuinly a cool dude" when they see you

Its alot about being Nt and having Social skills to be honest. I can go up to any friend group and make a few funny jokes, because im pretty good at being charismatic.

I didnt have a primary friend group, but was cool with every group there was, i just went up to them and was nt enough to sound funny and charismatic

the other way would be to be tall and having a wide frame and a handsome face
