How do I unironically get over a oneitus?

I can't get over my ex no matter how hard I try its been 8 months since I held her in my hands. I can forget for a month or two but when I get depressed I always start thinking about her.

The only girl who ever loved me and that I loved back. I tried dating a girl to get over her she was much worse looking and I ended up hating her.

So far nothing works can someone please give me advice on this?

We start talking she's a little receptive then I become more obsessed and talk with her 5 times a day she ignores me half the time then I stop talking and she messages me once after a week.

Yeah honestly if I have a chance... Women are so cruel the minute I showed her weakness she lost all respect for me. I tried talking to her again when I was at my lowest. And she just kept losing more respect for me.

I had just dropped out of uni and had nothing and she just lost all interest in me after that
