How do lats affect bidelt?

Do underdeveloped lats make bidelt worse? I have a much wider right lat because I don't do back and my left shoulder looks a lot less projected despite being similar size

its about illusion. The v taper just emphasises width

both your chest, lats, and traps affect the neutral positioning of your shoulders, if your chest is underdeveloped your shoulders are pulled back which makes you look narrower, if your back is underdeveloped the shoulder blades are pulled to the front.
