I don’t have the desire to increase my size or strength, from know I want to preserve what I have, especially joint health.

The upper-lower 4 day split I posted a while back is still I believe is one of the best routine to achieve a remarkable physique but truth be told I really don’t need 4 days per week in the gym to maintain my aesthetics. I’ve been actively trying to push how low I can go and I’ve found that with good sleep and diet even 1-2 days a week is enough.

Since I’m about to stop developing, I will increment fasting in steps, initially only rarely then more often as I age.

I also take recovering very seriously, I always sleep a lot (with weighted blanket, ear plugs, eye mask), stretch and visit spas for their sauna and thermal water.

Back when I started lifting in high school, I also did insane volume with lots of pre workout drinks, ton of compound movements etc.

It’s a lot of fun initially, especially if you have training mates.

But truth be told gymmaxxing has sharply diminishing returns, if you don’t stop it will take really only about 1-2 years to achieve your natural potential.
