I do think it's techincally possible to have a sibling sign up

and cuck the user who's also using this site jfl

They track IPs and store cookies. To know if you are using the same home wifi/mobile data and the same device to log on to the forum. If you want to alt successfully change the mobile phone, sim, and Wi-Fi but you can still get caught because of behavioural signals like posting style. People think masking identity is mostly about hiding technical identifiers but in practice it's this behaviour signals that is hardest part to mask.

In that situation, what action would the moderators take?

I intentionally made it obvious it was me at times but I could hide it easily. I used to have literal race wars with myself with BBC accounts and then wignat sfcel accounts.

I can hide my mannerisms well, it’s been years of this

Not always Cookies and IPs don't always get immediately flagged many of them trickle down the funnel
