I lowkey did this and I'm a high school drop out (graduated 2 years later). I didn't know basic algebra going into university (I cheated my way into one of the best Finance programs in my country). I abused adderall non stop and only grinded school, it was the hardest thing I ever did. I got the GPA, ECs and landed an internship and now my health is just destroyed, I can't even accept the internship because I'm dying from how much my health declined (physical symptoms). I also cheated in every way I could in college. I'm most likely going to fail all my classes during this semester because I simply can not get out of bed because of my current health.

But you're absolutely right, if you don't have a specific background (private school, IB or AP classes etc), ur most likely cooked. I
