If you've been in a ward you're probably too far gone mentally to "rehabilitate" in to society ... Especially repeat/long-term visits/stays.

It's a brutal reality that those people are extremely unlikely to ever function even semi-normally in any way within society overall. It's like jail; some niggas keep going back in because it's easier to be quelled by a system than to jump through hoops & have to fight against it.

Jail/wards/mental hospitals are for people who have basically "tapped out" in a way of modern living -- this is like a pacifier for them.

The system keeps those people babied in these places/pacifies them with drugs/etc. It's like adult babysitting -- instead of putting a bullet between your eyes they lock you in a place and give you sedatives/SSRIs/etc. so you become "functional" enough to not rebel/fight back.

It's like putting an angry animal in captivity. Some of the animals can be pets & shit but the captive ones are those that're mostly in mental prisons than anything. You lose your ability to deal with the world/become a part of it, so you just make with whatever alternative can quench your inabilities. The ward/jail/system is a revolving door -- they never "fix" people they just lock you up, drug you, release & repeat.

if you commit a crime and are deemed insane don't you end up in a ward ?
