How do you guys handle relaying ideas and thoughts in a shortened manner of not explaining every single detail and aspect of what you’re thinking?

I’m a diagnosed sperg and whatnot, but it genuinely baffles me when people don’t over explain every little nuance of what they’re talking about in order to ensure the reader or recipient (irl) of the message, understand the entirety of the thought process behind something.

Even asking this question I can’t help but notice it now with how many people have been telling me I do this. I had to delete a whole other paragraph in this thread :Despairge:

I couldn’t handle the thought of something I’m saying being misinterpreted, but maybe that’s some childhood trauma shit.

Not liking being misinterpreted/misunderstood is a autist trait it’s hard not to want to over explain because autists want to clearly state their point across nothing wrong with it.

i think nt people have it easier just filling in the blanks and less information does then well typically leaving us confused as we are expected to fill in said blanks

simply would just be the way how people non nt view the world compared to NTs they don’t need over explanation, hope this helps.

Also relatable, fuck normies.

I have the urge to hear someone out and make it known that I’m listening if they’re talking about something that everyone has moved on from while ignoring them.

Probably a coping mechanism to heal my own childhood social trauma.

I’m aware of my neurodivergence, I can also hide it well. It doesn’t remove from how rage inducing it is to be among people like this:FeelsWeirdMan:

Forcing it. Although over the recent past I’ve given up on giving a fuck, and will sperg out on irls

Not even making this up, after i was done being ignored by the person in my previous post, i asked him a question and did exactly what u just said, i made it extremely known that i was listening to him, even asking questions about what he had to say and laughing at whatever unfunny shit he was talking about all because i wanted him to enjoy conversing with me

The problem with those people is they don’t even register it, they feel entitled to your attention regardless of how you were treated.
