How do people become good at video editing for YT

I see people adding videos of videos and giffs sound effects etc to their YT videos how do people do that what software do they use?

I forgot the software but there’s one I like it has good features such as time capture time eraser etc. i jsut want to know how people have Written words in bold on their video usually seen with thumbnails and how they manage to add their own avatars to the video

This video is a perfect masterpiece of what I mean this guy adds multiple differnt mediums to his montage

How TF does he do it he even used other videos of people and crops goku hair onto them.
