How do people enjoy these activities?

I was at a party tonight for my sports team and it might have been the least fun I’ve ever had at a party. We all sat in a congested room and did karaoke for 2 and a half hours. I can’t see how people enjoy these weird stereotypical party activities like singing karaoke and trying to act outgoing instead of just talking like normal, eating, etc. My closest friend and I who probably have the most experience on the team sat staring around and talking with each other the entire time.

Yes everybody was and that’s why I don’t get how they stood there for 2 hours signing without stopping
