How do people even get well known on here

I’m gonna try to look on my pc later to see if the interface is any different, but looking on my phone it just seems like a bunch of random people’s threads with no way to see the most liked posts in the search or something like that. It just seems very confusing how a person just makes posts and then everyone sees it. It just seems like a bunch of random threads to me, not sure that if I saw one a would remember the same person the next time I saw their thread.
