I used to think otherwise about frienships growing up with high functioning ASD
I used to think friendships were something you had to work towards, and that it took an insane amount of luck to secure one
As I grow up, and the effects of my ASD go down with age
I realise, holy shit, I was just an aspie kid no one wanted to be friends with, making friends is actually so easy you can do it without even wanting to

You can literally make IRL friends doing any activity as a Young Person

Going to school Going to college Having a job Playing sports Volunteering for a charity or church Just going to a social club At the airport Hiking Camping Sightseeing Going on a ferry Visiting family in another city/country Meeting your friends' friends All of these are ways I've made friends...

For friendships, I thought otherwise because I was aspie, as the effects of my autism went down [i didn't get 'less aspie', the effects just got nullified with age] i realised otherwise
for friendships, you think this way beacuse you're aspie, or not attractive enough
when you actually get more attractive like i did, you realise it's so fucking simple, maybe easier than making friends, since our urge to fuck as humans is sometimes stronger than our urge to socialise IRL
