I grew up obese and am still pretty fat and if you want a genuine answer, I think it’s habits we were taught growing up. I was forced to finish all the food given to me by my parents no matter how full I was, and I suspect that caused my warped perception of “fullness” meaning I tend to eat until I’m FULL rather than eating till I’m not hungry anymore.Like damn fatfuck how you eat so much.

True to an extent, but even with protein rich foods I tend to eat a lot more of it compared to my leaner friends. It’s a mix of lifelong habits, emotional eating, and lack of discipline if I’m being honestProbably also the lack of real food, if you eat protein rich food you get full quick without having to eat as much calories.
