How do people live in their ignorant bliss while subconsciously knowing life is so brutal?

I mean there’s people who are given everything and don’t need to do anything about it, weather looks money etc, while others struggle with what they don’t have their entire lives. It’s so brutal to think about. Some people live lives that some can’t even comprehend while others live lives engulfed in their own depression and misery
