How do people quit drugs

Partially genetic in fact. I think 1/3 of all people are predisposed to addiction and have a very tough time quitting anything while the remainder can comfortably go cold turkey on a whim & not think about the drug in question whatsoever

I haven’t done hard drugs in months but I know it’s only a matter of time before I do them again
I can’t justify NOT doing drugs given my sub normie miserable existence. I was robbed of all happiness by others growing up. Who’s to say I shouldn’t get it now any way I can?

Soberity sucks yeh..
But when you hit absolute rock bottom you start to get psychosis , start to see your health depleting , your life completely ruined you end up being sober or resort to crimes.

I had psychosis a year ago and dropped out of law school
Ive been resorting to crimes for years too. I guess this is just gonna be my life

Oh wow, yeah you should have never started anything to begin with, considering family history. You should really consider professional help because there is an almost 0% chance you’re going to successfully become sober on your own. Outside help isn’t bad either so don’t think that

Is professional help really gonna make me sober though? I cant imagine sitting in front of someone is gonna change my chronic boredom and rage

Its isolating me from my family and i spend insane amounts of money. Doesnt feel nice when ur family are trying to afford the basics while all u can think of is drugs

main thing is that its one of my main sources of happiness, tried to quit a few times the last months and i get so depressed its insane

So just allow yourself to lacrimate? The depression goes away after a week or two
