It probably has to do with your upbringing and how much shit your parents put up with/their tolerance level.

I know for a fact that, with Latinos, you better get your ass a job cause my mom and stepdad ain't gonna be supporting my ass forever and they're not eternal.

I was in that same position after I dropped out of school due to the blackpill hitting me like a ton of bricks due to a seriously bad rejection, didn't wanna do anything, just LDAR in my bed, play videogames, etc.

If there are no external forces (e.g. parents, family member) actually encouraging said individual to improve themselves, then no such improvement occurs, and they continue rotting until their parents died and they either become homeless/mentally ill like Chris Chan
