How do people trust and believe in religion?

Are you saying it wasnt?
Who tf knows we weren’t there back then. Most likely those tales were just some ancestor’s weird ass experience being passed down to their descendants

Yeah np, what I’m trying to say is that belief in God, and what follows from it, has more grounding than one might initially think, and that belief in Him has a fairly strong basis in reason and viceversa

That something, if i knew what it was we wouldnt be arguing about it
So is that something eternal and able to form other things?
If yes = that’s a god
If no = then it must’ve been created by something else

Why would it have to be created, youre just repeating that something was created and im telling you what if it wasnt. I also didnt say that “something” formed everything else i said that everything else was formed from “something”, like evolution

Yeah but i just cant get myself to pray it always seemed bizzare and useless to me
say it like you are talking to someone/yourself, doesnt have to be anything ritualistic
