How do people who take edrafitinib combat the spinal side effect

Is that only if you’re taking a high dose like 5mg+?

I heard you could develop scoliosis from it, I’m not worried about the eyes side because i can just buy eyedrops but the spine side effects seem worrying

I’m probably gonna be taking 3-4mg of edrafitinib

you can still get retinal detachment even with eyedrops but just dnr that unless you have previous eye issues, then dont do it or get regular ocular scans.
scoliosis should only happen if youre doing high doses and its kinda like you cant do much about it yk, it just means its working and the rest of your body cant really catch up properly
if you have proper phosphate levels, are overall healthy and good posture it shouldnt be bad like at all

So if I take sevelamer I wouldn’t have anything to worry about?

I mean you could theoretically get it but it probably won't be medically classified as scoliosis (>20º curve). Obv if you notice some maybe take some more precautions and do some type of therapy but probably wont happen

if you do 4 mg thats like 9 months of supply so yeah (bioavailabity at oral raw powder is less consistent than pharma, idk exactly but 4mg is probably the equivalent of 2.5 or so pharma, you can dissolve in DMSO or just take more i'd start at 3mg raw and titrate from there according to side effects

I hate to say it but it will probably enter mainstream knowledge and people dying from it would make it worse
