A lot of people on this site seem to just spout bs, there isn't even a standardized rating scale. I was under the assumption that a regular person was most likely ltn (yes I know technically low tier means below average making mid tier average)
and why do we use the term sub-5 if most of the time that just means ltn on other chart. I understand why people scale down but on a chart there wont be that many below 3 anyways and we have to account for outliers. Therefore shouldn't the chart be like this:

sub-5: 5>
ltn: 5 - 6
mtn 6 - 7
htn 7- 8
chadlite 8 - 9
"chad" 9 - 10

Additionally aren't most ratings in comparison to yourself. Like its easiest to identify if someone outclasses you or if you outclass someone. IF this is the case do we account for preferences? People have preferences in real life but we don't apply them to this chart at all.

Basically my point is how do you know where you lay on this chart? isn't it best to determine where you land based on social interactions? like how if I found a mtn/mtb good looking they would most likely have to be within my prefered phenotype. On the contrary someone who is htn/htb would probably catch my eye regardless of phenotype. Also how do we account for phenotypes you would never consider at all?
