How do scientists know about far away things in space

They say there’s a black hole 80 billion light years away and stuff like that. Like how do they know that? Just because you get a telescope and see a weird object far away doesn’t mean it’s a black hole bud. I feel like they just make random shit up

I know Saturn is real. I seen it with my own eyes. I got my telescope and zoomed in and saw the rings around it.

But anything beyond this solar system is all speculation

For all I know space is all made up cause I’ve never seen it personally but I just believe those fuckers so I can be NT.

Nah planets are real but we’ve never been to space because there‘s a firmament over the earth like the Bible says.
