How do us black boys cope with living in majority white areas?

I’m a black male and stand around 5’7.5 and live in Midwest United States and everywhere I go I’m getting mogged by blonde guys and sometimes even blonde women. Last year at school I was called nigger and shoved countless times but I can’t even do shit about it because I lack the physical attributes to do so. Why couldn’t I just be Anglo Saxon?

Being a Black dude in the suburbs can be rough. Especially as everyone around already has some preconceived idea of how they think Black guys act. And if you don’t fit in that box, it’ll often lead to scrutiny and people picking on you. But life’s bigger than just your current situation. I’d just chill and relax for now and get through school. Then you can always move away from the Midwest to the city, go to school, and meet more people like you.
