How do women react when they walk past you?

I get ignored most of the time with the occasiaonal eye contact and smile.

in Poland it's similar
people never smile at each other unless there's some situational reason
everyone just walks with an emotionless face
and complementing people is very rare, even friends

I'm the ultimate pessimist so imo if they look at their phones they're too embarrassed to look at my ugliness, however I've been told before that some look at their phones when they find u attractive and thus shy to avoid contact. Tbh Im probably reading way too much into it either way

Yeh could also be second but both situations happened to me
 
I think our eyes naturally gravitate towards the tallest people in our proximity. Ugly or not, having the superior height is enough to create the impression of dominance that is unnatural to ignore.

To answer the question:
>Make eye contact and carry on walking
>Look away or down at their phones
>Ignore you
